Gas Leak Repair

It is an encapsulation sealant used to extend the life of your gas filled breakers by permanently sealing compromised joint areas. Originally developed to repair SF6 gas leaks, the technology provides a low cost alternative to complete replacement of leaking breaker gaskets.
It is a proven procedure for over 16 years in the making. The Breakerseal® process is a unique encapsulation method of external repair, whereby, the leak is cleaned and surrounded by a mold. The sealant is poured into the mold and pressurized against internal breaker pressure. The Breakerseal® , when applied to the problem area, quickly transforms from a liquid to a flexible solid which adheres to the surface of the repair area. It forms a permanent seal which will move with the breaker, even under even the most severe vibration and weather conditions.
